The Manitou Springs Heritage Museum is excited to launch a new exhibit, “Women of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb“. Discover Loni Unser who continues to blaze the trail for her legendary racing family. Learn about pioneering women like Joyce Thompson, Terry Ives and Michelle Mouton, who paved the way for their female successors. See an authentic 1922 vintage race car.

Learn about these women’s racing stories and see our exciting race photos, including photos taken by Pulitzer Prize winner, Robert Jackson, and many others. Watch our collection of PPIHC videos including races videos featuring Katherine Legge, Michele Mouton, Loni Unser and Laura Hayes.

Enjoy our Hill Climb artifacts and ephemera. The exhibit will be showing from June 5th through June 30. And don’t miss our Watch Party on June 21st for the 104th running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
