Established in 1987, The Mineral Springs Foundation is a group of committed volunteers acting as stewards of our precious water resources.  Our mission is to restore, protect and publicize the natural mineral springs and to document their historic origins.

Learn more about the history of Manitou’s mineral springs with a presentation from Mineral Springs Foundation president Doug Edmundson, held inside the Manitou Springs Heritage Museum. Then join us for a rare walking tour of our town’s amazing mineral springs! You’ll see some of your favorite mineral springs up close and gain a better understanding of why the mineral springs are the soul of our community.
