The Black Castle (1952)

This moody gothic horror film from Universal Pictures is steeped in revenge, mystery, and shadowy intrigue. Set in 18th-century Austria, it follows British noble Sir Ronald Burton as he infiltrates the sinister estate of Count von Bruno to investigate the disappearance of two friends.
