SUMMARY:First Friday Exhibit The Wall - A Montage of First Amendment Rights with Live Music by Ophelia's Fate
DESCRIPTION:The Manitou Springs Heritage Museum is participating in the statewide Sesquisemiquincentennial anniversaries with an exhibit featuring First Amendment rights. The exhibit will feature a controversial collection of historical activist buttons\, posters\, images and ephemera representing our country’s right to Constitutional protections and expression under the First Amendment and cover: \n\n  \n  \n  \n\n\nFreedom of religion\nFreedom of speech\nFreedom of press\nFreedom of assembly\nFreedom of petition\n\nWe choose to acknowledge and recognize the struggles of all people\, including minorities\, who helped shape the United States and our state of Colorado. The exhibit opens July 3rd\, with an end date to be announced. \n\n\nJon Neukam\nJoin us opening night on “First Friday” July 3rd with a reception and refreshments from 6-8pm\, for a special concert with Ophelia’s Fate featuring Jon Neukam and the band’s sweet traditional sounds of the past. \n\nJoin us at our FREE museum!  Manitou Springs Heritage Museum\, 517 Manitou Ave.\, Manitou Springs\, Colorado 80829.
