Reefer Madness- Getting high in Manitou? Within a historical context, this 80 year old cult classic is considered one of the greatest exploitation films of all time. At the time of its release, “Reefer Madness” was highly controversial and dealt with a forbidden subject while skirting the Motion Picture Production Code of 1930. (Released 1938). Heritage Center doors open at 6:30pm; movie starts at 7:00 pm. (Run time 1:08:17). Popcorn and traditional movie concessions are available.
